Women In Africa

The Women in Africa Foundation supports women entrepreneurs in Africa via an endowment fund to fulfill its general interest mission and the promotion of education in the field of economic development, and more specifically the training of future creators of innovative companies. This year, the foundation is launching Project 54 in collaboration with Societe Generale, a major sponsor of the project.

Available worldwide and open to all, its main goal is to help integrate underprivileged members of society and job seekers, in particular categories that are under-represented in web-based professions.

Terres en Mêlées: developing education through rugby

Terres en Mêlées (TEM) designs educational programmes through rugby and environmental education for children living in remote and marginalised areas. It trains and qualifies teachers and assists them in setting up sports and environmental education programmes for schools.

The journey of a lifetime with rugby

A pioneer in using rugby as an educational tool, Terres en mêlées is a French association active in five countries, who aim to promote greater social equality for girls, equality between boys and girls, environmental protection and intercultural dialogue. To mark Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan, the association, supported by Societe Generale, brought a group of young people from remote fishing and farming villages in Madagascar to the tournament and take part in the Societe Generale Rugby Spirit Festival.
